Presence Centred, People Focused, Community Oriented
We seek God’s presence, to experience the power of the Holy Spirit, to see God’s glory materialise in healing, signs and wonders, bringing honour and praise to Christ Jesus who is our magnificent obsession.
Presence Centred
Gathering around the manifest Presence of God in worship
The one desire of our hearts is to worship God and to enjoy His presence forever. (Westminster confession of faith.)
As a worshiping community that is honouring God, we release the worship we were created for.
We gather round the manifest presence of God to encounter the Holy Spirit, and seek to welcome Him to do all he desires in our lives.
We gather in worship to receive revelation so that we align our lives with the revealed purposes God.
We gather to bring about transformation as an expression of our worship.
In worship we pray and intercede in alignment with the prophetic revelation which reveals the surrender and posture of our lives submitted to the Lordship of Christ Jesus.
“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.”
— Psalms 27:4
People Focused
Being people focused leads to the restoration of a healthy life
We want every person to discover their unique identity and know they were created for a specific purpose. On realising their true identity and embracing the purpose God has for their life, each person is able to live out their destiny.
Living a life of purpose is established through security, significance and self-worth and by walking in God's love. People know they are unconditionally loved and accepted as they learn how to contribute and make an impact on others in a positive way, building a bond of belonging.
Being people focused results in a person's life being restored to health in all of their relationships. It will effectively transform every meaningful relationship and sphere of life.
People are reconciled to God, to themselves, to their family relationships, and to their community, thus bringing transformation into all spheres of life.
All this creates a sense of belonging as we grow in an expression of the family of God.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17-19
Community Oriented
Equipping and releasing healthy believers to transform their community
We seek to equip and release each person so they find their place of belonging within the church, then influence and bring the transforming power of the Gospel of the Kingdom into every sphere of life.
Our aim is transforming our culture. Being community based, we focus on:
the community in the locality of Dudley - this is our Jerusalem.
the nation - this is our Judea.
the cultures of diverse ethnicities and generational groups - this is our Samaria.
the nations - to ends of the earth.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
— Acts 1:8
