Light House, January 2021
We praise God for your continued support for our work here in India which enabled us to start the New Year by admitting two of our at risk young women in a short term hospitality training. They are also pursuing their under graduate studies in a local college.
We made a visit at DB Tech office with the girls and gave them a firsthand orientation on the courses available and tour of the training centre. The girls are keen on working hard for a purpose driven life and we are grateful to have this opportunity to stand with them in their restoration journey.
For the new batch of at risk girls & survivors we are looking at paid hostel or rented room facility which is near their college and training centre as it is not possible for the girls to travel on a daily basis from their village. We had planned to provide them accommodation in Papa House centre but due to the new Government guideline Survivors/at risk girls above the age of 16 years cannot be placed in the same premises as children therefore we will be looking for a hostel facility for the new batch girls before their classes starts for the new session.
