India Mission Trip, October 2023

Thank you so much for your prayers for us over these last few months and especially over our October mission trip. We wanted to update you all with testimony and answered prayers!

Starting off in Darjeeling, we met with several pastors we have known for over 10 years, and had a 2 day conference called His Glory, sharing the very practical aspect of obedience and repentance being key to entering the Glory Presence. The meetings broke open the heavens with worship that carried the sounds of the Spirit, and ushered in a wave of His glorious presence on us all. Hundreds of hungry people and all the leaders responded for a deeper walk with God and a Revival Anointing, and the team prophesied over all who came forward!

Since the conference finished, all the pastors came to us asking for further help in how to build in an apostolic way, as opposed to holding to the religious and cultural traditions they have grown up with as their default church. We strongly believe that old un-biblical foundations are being demolished and a new foundation will be laid, built upon apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus being the chief cornerstone!

We have visited the LightHouse project to see Bunu’s outreach centre for anti-human trafficking, a couple of times too, where we were overwhelmed to hear the stories of 4 young women who she had rescued. The presence of God was so powerful in that place. There was such an outpouring of love that could be felt as they shared, danced, and then from the bottom of her heart, one young woman sang the old hymn, All to Jesus I surrender. No dry eyes after that:) Two mothers had also come to see their daughters graduate onto their hotel management and catering placements - and Trevor and Sharon as an act of love and restoration, bent down and washed their feet. These women who had only ever been dishonoured and used, were able to experience a touch of God’s restoring love and cleansing presence. When we returned days later, these two mothers gave their hearts to the Lord as they poured out their stories and asked Jesus to give them a brand new life.

Papa’s House children and all the team there, send their love and thanks for the tremendous support that Revival Fires continues to give now for many many years, and it was good tosee the 20 or so children again. Some did Bengali dances, and several of them gave their testimony of how they have been helped in their lives and have come to trust in Jesus.

The meetings in the plains were like mini crusades of past trips, where hundreds of the believers from the tea garden areas lined up in the fields to receive an anointing, after being impacted by the presence of God throughout the days we were with them

We have faced off spiritual strongholds in both individuals and churches, and believe that during this trip more than any other, we have brought restoration into family life, and seen broken relationships healed and renewed through love and forgiveness.
