JULY
As we have been passionate for freedom and wholeness for every survivor of human trafficking relentlessly working & praying for hope, healing and justice in their lives On World Day Against Trafficking in Persons Event we organised a event to facilitate some of the survivors of human trafficking we work.
One of chief guest were Pastor Dr S S Rai who prayed over the event and shared briefly on biblical Justice encouraging Government stakeholders on our continuing commitment to continuing what Jesus started to usher in shalom into the brokenness and oppression in the world.
We also handed over Certificates for some of the survivors who completed our mentorship & skill training.
We also used this time to spread awareness on Understanding of Human Trafficking for some local stakeholders.
Bunu have been continuing to advocate for rights and Justice of at risk young women and girls of various marginalised communities by working closely with Government officials. Seen here with Block Development Officer to discuss about pending missing cases in Naxalbari Block.
We along with support from Vikrant (Vicky) on Doctors Day donated 120 memento in honour of the incredible service of the Doctors and Frontline healthcare workers of North Bengal Medical Hospital in support of Pray for me Campaign & Siliguri United Christian Forum(SUCF)in their month long efforts to feed the families of Covid infected families.
In the last two challenging year we have been praying for our City frontline healthcare workers for their service towards the many communities.Prayer has been one of our power tools during these times.
AUGUST
Thank you all sponsors and donors of Revival Fires who continued to support our passion & vision to capacitate us so that we can stand up for those that need protection and healing coming out of oppression and exploitation.
Your financial support enables us equip survivors of human trafficking with skills that will not only give them a viable source of income but also a access the Joy and Healing rooted in the Jesus.
When these survivors first gets placed with us they are hostile to the services and care we offer. But with everyday prayer we ask for the Holy Spirit to be our very present help to bring the hope of Jesus in their lives.
We are beyond blessed to witness such remarkable restoration in the lives of the survivors we work with because of each of your financial support. When Karishma was rescued and first brought to us she was really in a place of brokenness. Today her life is a testimonial to the fact that God is still at work to bring people out of hopelessness and into holistic restoration. This has only been possible because of a strong rally of prayer over her life welcoming the Holy Spirit to work miraculously. She is currently placed in a 5 star resort in Karnataka and we continue to pray blessing over her life.
We also are continuing to pray for her to continue growing in the Lord as she has accepted Jesus as her personal saviour. She still continues to face the stigma of her family back in her village in Bihar who are opposed to her decision to follow Christ. We are still mentoring and following up with her regularly.
SEPTEMBER
From 2021 Batch one of the survivors who had got placed with us this year has been the most loved youngest girls from this batch currently doing her beautician course. She loves to spend time with Bunu and taking cute selfies with her. Recently she (Sonia - name changed) had a gala time exploring one of the best resorts in Siliguri for a event with Bunu as downtime from her regular classes.
She smiles today with confidence and grace because she is slowly healing and is a step closer to achieving her dreams - This has been possible because so many of your kind financial support made her restoration possible.

Regular classes at the tailoring training centre has resumed where survivors and at risk women continue to learn embroidery, cutting and machine stitching skills with the help our vocational trainer.
Personal Testimony
Thank you for your prayers for my life and love for me always so that I can continue pour out my life to bless others along the way. Christ in me and reflecting Christ through my life has been my only life goal so that Jesus shines out the brightest in everything I do everything I am.
With this life mission every high and low moment is joyous with the Lord having the assurance of the Holy Spirit to minister to me whenever I need it. I was invited for a training session for World vision Assam as a resource person for survivors of rape , child marriage and human trafficking. Also it has been a blessing to mentor the Students of Social Work Department Salesian College Siliguri on social work practice and understanding of human trafficking.
This month also had the opportunity to Sharing on role of church to combat Human Trafficking for North East India Christian Forum. It has been such a joy & a blessings to have each one of your support for this ministry to seek justice and freedom for the oppressed and exploited.
