Extended Meetings to Equipping Meetings

“Having had 28 weeks of extended meetings of the Dudley Outpouring, which has had major impact on the church in UK and Europe, it has been wonderful to see what God has done, but we need to take a view on what’s next.

At the Prophetic Seers conference, which was our greatest gathering of all the conferences we have done, seeing the hunger and expectation in nearly 800 people’s lives, I sense that this present wave has broken. It would be easy to go from the conference and say ‘let’s keep pushing into extended meetings’, but I’ve really felt a check on my spirit to say we are moving into a time of ebb – the after effects of breaking waves - and sensing that there is a fresh wave beginning to grow. The passage that God has spoken to me regarding this is Esther 1:4-5:

“For a full 180 days he displayed the vast wealth of his kingdom and the splendor and glory of his majesty. 5 When these days were over, the king gave a banquet, lasting seven days, in the enclosed garden of the king's palace, for all the people from the least to the greatest, who were in the citadel of Susa”

These last 197 days, we have experienced this and in the days ahead I do believe God is going to reveal the wealth of his kingdom and splendour and glory of His majesty, what this will look like? I believe it will be a release of the miraculous through the church.

We can look forward to times of extended meetings in the future, but we need to be sensitive to what God is doing now, and just to continue something for the sake of continuance would be wrong. This is one of the things I have wrestled with, as to knowing when we should stop the extended meetings, but there was clear direction at Prophetic Seers, that this would be a time of equipping and releasing.

Regarding the Friday meetings, in order for us to make the change, I want to transition from extended meetings into equipping meetings on a Friday night, which will have all the hallmarks of manifest presence in worship and miracles, signs and wonders, as the presence of Jesus displays power and healing, equipping of the saints for works of ministry.

I believe this is a clear word that we have received, to be an apostolic resource centre to equip everyone to move in signs, wonders and miracles. So mark these dates out in your diary – these Fridays will also run with our conferences that we are planning over the next 6 months, so that we put the swords back into the hand of champions, who will do the works of the Kingdom.”
